| Burnt Hills will make a grab for the STATE TITLE, OP will fade into obscurity, and Penfield takes it all. |

| McQuaid will probably be 46 and 0 over the next two years with two State Titles. The best O'Dell will have his day. |

| McQuaid got pounded in the finals this year with some great upper and underclassmen, and they will be stacked this upcoming year. They will have a great year, but they wont go undefeated this upcoming year though. |

| McQuaid is gonna be insane. Tyler Sankes may be the best player in section 5. |

| Tyler has worked hard and has improved, but he will not be the best player in section 5 next year. |

| Some teams cannot beat other teams no matter how hard they practice or try. No matter how hard Webster works this year it will be absolutely impossible for them to beat McQuaid, McQuaid will be too good. |

Is Webster going back to two teams this fall? |

| I just want to make sure I'm reading this right, McQuaid is the only great team, Webster may or may not have a shot, Victor is ok, and no one else matters |

The Democrat and Chronicle have the following teams ranked for their preseason:
1. McQuaid 2. Victor 3. Rush 4. W. Irondaquoit 5. Penfield 6. Webster
The paper seems to think any of these teams has a shot to bring home the Championship! |

| where did u find that on the D and C page? I looked and couldn't find it. And i agree with these ranks. Victor has Dan Glamack coming back, and W. Irondaquoit and R-H will be strong with some returning starters. |

There will be no powerhouses...there are some good players out there, but I would reserve the word "powerhouse" for a team like Orchard Park a couple of years ago or Eden the years they went undefeated or Burnt Hills three years ago when they beat Orchard Park.
Dan is good, yes, and his setter is pretty solid as well, but powerhouse?! I think we would need a couple guys at his level on that team to start throwing around that word.
A good reflection would be your club teams. Look at your "winning" club teams this season and if there are three or more guys on that team that play on the same hs team, you may have a "powerhouse". In the past, in WNY, that was a pretty good formula... |

| There are 3 McQuaid players on the Pace 17's and 5 McQuaid players on the Pace 16's. McQuaid's bench would probably play their starters in the Sectional finals. This is most certainly a Powerhouse. Those Eden, OP and Burnt Hills teams are a mere fraction of the skill of the McQuaid teams the next two years. |

This comes from a kid I am assuming and we all know how effectively kids can rate their peers or talent in general.
A fraction huh...Tom Comfort fighting for a starting spot at Penn State...Stefani and Schwagler doing the same at their d1 schools...a fraction...really?!
Talk to me when you have more than half a dozen years experience in rating players or when your opinion is valued with regards to player selection for a high-level team. |
