what are some AGR predilections for this year? Some people are shoe-ins but I think some others could sneak up and make a good run for a spot. Who do you think? Any suggestions welcome.

Hmmm. There are 97 teams in Section 5, it probably stands to reason that the best (or most deserving) 11 players come from only 6 teams. Seems logical. And that nobody from The B's, C's or D's should make it. Makes sense to me...

Well Ryenn Smith was the only person from class B,C, or D to make it last year. But that is why an HFL girl will probably make it, but I am not too familiar with their team. And if there were any players that were better or compare to the girls listed in class B,C, or D then I am all ears.

It's the same with the boys. If you aren't a monroe county player you don't get recognized.

I am interested in understanding how the AGR voting works. Do the coaches vote for the best 12 players? Are there a minimum number of slots by position?

They get recognized, but as honorable mentions. It ends up being mostly Monroe County kids because normally they are the best players.

I have to agree with Otter, their are some pretty good volleyball players at B, C & D and their names are submitted but generally ignored for the bigger schools. Maybe the smaller school coaches don't submit their ballots. who knows.

Ryenn Smith was not the only player from B, C or D to make it last year. Katlyn Tyler was named AGR also. And there have been other players in the past from those classes named...I remember Katie Sattora from Avon a few years back.
