ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth College has agreed to be the new host of the eight-team NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Championship April 26-28 at the Kidera Gymnasium.
The championship was originally scheduled to take place at the duPont Athletic Center on the campus of MIT in Cambridge, Mass. Due to the recent events in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon, the NCAA determined it would be in the best interests of the tournament to move to a new location.
Kean and Endicott will meet in a play-in game Sunday, then the eight remaining teams will convene at Nazareth. There will be four quarterfinal matches on Friday, two semifinal matches Saturday and the championship match Sunday.
Nazareth hosted the national championship Final Four in 2011 when the tournament was sponsored by Molten and the Golden Flyers won the title.
"We're happy to have the opportunity to host," said Nazareth Athletic Director Pete Bothner. "The situation in Boston is unfortunate, but we're pleased to be able to step in and help out."
The schedule:

Saturday, April 27

Sunday, April 28
