USA junior beach volleyball is double dipping this summer in Rochester!
Saturday, one of the four USA skills clinic, followed the next day by the Great Lakes Open.

New for 2013 will be the USA Junior Beach National Ranking. All participants in the Junior Beach Tour will receive national ranking points for every event they enter. Point leaders at the end of the season will be invited to Holiday High Performance Camp. Also new for 2013, the tour will include both “Open†and “Grand Slam†events. Grand Slam events will offer five bids per division to the National Championships and extra ranking points.
USA Volleyball has released a preliminary schedule for the tour, which will peak at the National Championships to be held July 27-28 in Milwaukee, Wis. Teams can earn bids to compete in the Open Division at the National Championships in preceding Junior Beach Tour Events. There will also be a Club Division that will be open to anyone.
Also on the schedule are four Beach Skills Clinics, paid for by a grant from Proctor & Gamble, to be held in conjunction with the Tour events in Omaha, Chicago, Seattle and Rochester, N.Y. Beach Skills Clinics are aimed at exposing new participants to the sport of beach volleyball.
