Buffalo Niagara Court Center hosted the 2008 West Seneca Girl’s Volleyball Invitational on Saturday, September 27.

The all tournament team includes: Elise Texido (St. Mary’s of Lancaster), Bethany Fabian (Frontier), Liz Rossi (Mt. St. Mary’s), Katie Wilson (Penfield), Bridget Shanahan (Royhart), Bridget Bowman (West Seneca West), Lauren Bujnicki (West Seneca East), Rebecca Dennee (Maryvale), and the JV MVP Christine Gibbons (Nardin).

The Varsity Champions were St. Mary’s of Lancaster coached by Don Pieczynski. They defeated Frontier with scores of 25-19 and 25-18.

Royhart won the Varsity Gold flight, defeating Depew (24-26, 25-21, 15-13). The Varsity Silver flight was won by the Indians of West Seneca West who defeated Springville (25-19, 23-25, 15-12).

The Champions of the JV Division were Nardin Academy, defeating North Tonawanda with scores of 25-11, 29-27. West Seneca East took the JV Gold flight, defeating Depew (20-25, 25-23, 15-.
