Who do you think will be the best team in Section V in 08?

top 5 list with some explanations?

1. Penfield - even though their graduating a bunch they've got so many new and just as good players (dangler, sutherland, evans)
2. Rush - they made it to the finals last year and only graduated one player, a lot of their guys are playing pace
3. Fairport - they are behind rush because of how many seniors their losing and the injured state of kemper and syta for most of the offseason
4/5. Gates - even though so few are graduating they wont be able to beat rush or fairport (assuming syta and kemper are playing)
4/5. McQ - they are gonna be loaded just like always

rush graduated two players for the record doesnt make a difference

no victor or midlakes?

i think midlakes will probably be better than penfield this year, i would put them number one. victor has alot to prove before i put them above penfield, fairport or rush

i was only looking at like the sectional turnout for this division (AAA) not at the other (AA) but yes victor would be around 4 or 5 and midlakes would be 1 to 3

why is fairport 8? i realize they lost alot of seniors, but the defensive intensity will no doubt stay with JOD as a coach, and that is something lacking on many teams in section V. i would definatly put them above gates

Victor beat Rush handily this past year and only lost three seniors, though they were all key; Jason as a blocker, Nick as a go to hitter, and Mark as a ball control guy. They also have three kids that made national teams at some point; Robbie Page, Dan Glamack, and Matt Elgin. They do lack a setter though. In my mind they should be top 5 if not better.
