Any talk of class A championship needs to include Rush. They will easily wipe the floor with McQuaid. Also is Penfield and Midlakes going to play this year? We need a consensus "top team in Section V" this year.

Victor will be very strong at the pins offensively, I've seen Josh Mayhan play lately and he is on a level close to that of Robbie and Dan. Matt will play middle and be dominant. Cory will be an ample setter, or if he is worked with become a leader and possibly help to dethrone Midlakes. If Victor can come up with another middle and some defense they could become the team to beat in Rochester or maybe even in New York in the next two years with a little work.

It's funny how one team can "wipe the floor" with another team before tryouts even start. Wait for at least a pre-season tourney to start making brash predictions. Anything can happen. If you don't believe that, just look at the Tampa Bay Rays...first place. Who would've predicted that?

Good point, when I reference something this early it is only a prediction, not a promise or anything like that. When I say this about Victor I know that they could also be the worst team in Rochester.

A bit off topic...
I would love to see a West vs East All star game.

Orchard Park is returning pretty much their whole team for next year. They are going to be VERY tough to beat this year.

I wouldn't count out BH this year either

They bring back a solid team. Varsity team was the 16's Club team this year (all 2 of the seniors are young) and they won east coasts so it should be interesting. PLus Op and BH rematch during pool play at Eden Tourney. Gotta support my Boys.

When was the last time a team three-peated? I know McQuaid and Churchville repeated titles recently, and Webster before them, but has a school ever three-peated?

Victor, they had a run of four until they lost to Midlakes two years ago, and before that they won five in a row. But if you're talking just class A I have no idea.

They print the past winners every year in the programs that get handed out at finals. Anybody ever keep a copy?
