What does everyone think of Victor doing well against R-H? The scores were 25-mid or upper teens each time if I recall.

Yes, everyone has been back for a while now, maybe a week.

then victor is a very solid team, one of the best in section v. if they have finally filled the setting position (and gotten back 3 starters) then they will be very tough to beat. they should be beating rush...not that rush is a bad team but victor is very strong

Looking back at this discussion from August, something came to me. How about an East vs. West game BUT make it almost like Empires. Buffalo/Rochester versus the rest of the state.
Or North vs. South (teams north of the I-90 vs. teams south of the I-90). Just an idea. Any thoughts?

Victor's setter is extremely talented. His name is Cory Phillips and behind EJ from Midlakes is arguable the second best setter in Section V. He soft touch makes a hitter feel like they are hitting a beach ball, he has learned a lesson from Kevin A. the RH setter over this past club season and doles out butter for anyone willing to hit.

oh you mean the RH setter who holds the ball for 5 seconds then slings it to the hitter?

Cory isn't the second best setter in section V. I give him fourth at best, EJ, Syta, Kevin, then Cory

even though he is more of a hitter now, mowery should probably be in front of cory as well but ya victor is a very strong team.

cory is easily one of the best setters in section 5 but i would like to point out setting for 3 A1 players is a lot easier and makes everything look better due to the fact that all sets dont have to be perfect or close to perfect to be demolished by page elgin or glamick
