I contacted the Sports Department at the D & C. According to their High School Sports Panel they have:

1. Mcquaid

3. West Irondequoit
4. Rush-Henrietta
5. Penfield

7. Fairport
8. Spencerport
9. Brighton
10.Churchville

I see someone every year posts that the D & C has a top 10.... Who could be on this panel that has any clue of the top 10 teams. Also if this panel takes the time to create a list for Boys Volleyball why have I ever not seen this in the paper. I could be completly wrong and this panel is created by coachs or something and that every year I miss it in the paper but as much as I would love for boys volleyball to be in the press more it just seems that this is unlikly. I will say though that the list looks about right.

I know some spellings are wrong, but these guys are at the top of the list for the college volleyball recruit list, along with many others. I know positions switch around a lot, but this is a good start. Someone needs to put together a starting line-up now.

It's tough to distinguish between the players who will be effective high school players and the players who will be effective college players. For instance, I see Sam Palermo as an OH at the next level based solely on his jump. There are more guys like Christy Blough, Tyler Blank, and Shaun Ermi who have very, very high ceilings based on how they've played at the 15's level. But at the moment, they're only nice additions for their respective varsity teams.
