Well Victor 16s only had one tryout so far and there were 35 talented vballers there, thats about 15 more than last seasons tryouts!

Who will be coaching the Victor 16-2's?

I think there is still some back and forth going on between PACE and Victor and even some things between age groups that need to be settled. Can-AM is only 6 weeks away, though so things should be straightened out soon.

Can-AM is coming up and PACE looks scary! Big teams in some of these age levels very excited to see.

So Penfield has their own 14&Under Club now. My prediction is three more state championships for McQuaid then Penfield will take over and start a new streak!

Not sure about McQuaid and 3 more. If the Penfield club can stick and avoid the almost inevitable in-fighting and alienation that a town/school club can bring, there would be no one around to compete with them.

Penfield Tradition (the new club) is actually 13s. They were playing up and still were very successful. The group of 7th graders have just finished an undefeated modified season. This seems to be a very strong, devoted class.

Usually the team with the best athletes wins the Sectional Championships. McQuaid has the athletes in their program, starting with Christy all the way down to the Pace 14's.

If you're asking about the boys side only, the answer is no since Boys volleyball has only had a State Tourney for just a few years now. Before that it was strictly a Intersectional Final.

Well this is the boy's volleyball discussion thread, and yes I was referring to Intersectional Finals as well. If you have ever been around high school boy's volleyball in this region you would know that post sectional play has always been referred to as playing in "states" not ever a "Intersectional Final."

Pace really dominated the regional titles this year? Tough club.
